William P. Robertson
For more than 20 years, Bill Robertson has concentrated his practice in commercial and residential real estate, land use and representation of public entities. He has represented private clients in land use matters throughout Somerset, Morris, Hunterdon and Union Counties, as well as representing various land use boards. He represented the New Providence Planning Board for 19 years and the Chatham Township Planning Board for 7 years.
As Deputy County Counsel for more than 20 years, he has also handled most aspects of public entity law and represents many local Somerset County businesses in transactional, real estate and leasing matters.
From 1985 to 1989, Bill served as Assistant Prosecutor in the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office. He served as Deputy Somerset County Counsel from 1992 to 2014. He is Chairman of the District XIII Fee Arbitration Committee.
