Meet Jeffrey W. Pompeo
Jeffrey Pompeo’s practice areas include litigation, contract law, wills, trusts and estates, estate administration, estate litigation, real estate and municipal court. He also represents and counsels non-profit organizations and serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.
He has served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Passaic County and a Law Clerk for the Honorable Theodore W. Trautwein, NJ Superior Court, Appellate Division in Hackensack. He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Counsel of the Passaic County Interfaith Hospitality Network, a New Jersey non-profit organization for homeless families and presently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Counsel for the Richmond Foundation.
He has also served on the School Board for both St. Philip Preparatory School and Paul VI Regional High School in Clifton.
Jeffrey has also worked in the television field, hosting the game show “In the Know” and producing and hosting the talk and entertainment show “Close Up”. In addition, he produced and narrated a 60-minute documentary for the State of New Jersey entitled “Dare to Dream: A History of Crime Victims’ Rights in New Jersey.”
During Pope Francis’ visit to the United States, he was interviewed on NJTV News in a segment entitled: “Free Tickets to See Pope Francis Sell for Hundreds Online.”
Jeffrey is a trustee of the Richmond Foundation, Living Waters Teen Family Foundation and NJ Crime Victims’ Law Center and is a former trustee of the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce.
He has published over 250 articles on legal and non-legal topics and has been a columnist for Jersey Insider since 2005. He was the guest speaker at over 25 events at schools, churches, hospitals, financial institutions, bar associations and civic and charitable organizations, including the graduation at Saint Philip Preparatory School in 2024.
Jeffrey has received awards from the Knights of Columbus, New Jersey Department of Corrections, Point Pleasant Beach Police Department, PBA #106, North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce, Paul VI Regional High School Alumni Association, Passaic County Interfaith Hospitality Network and Seton Hall University.
Jeffrey Pompeo
Jeffrey Pompeo was the Guest Speaker at the Graduation Ceremony for Saint Philip Preparatory School in Clifton, NJ.
He served as the Guest Speaker at the Msgr. Peter J Doody Scholarship Dinner in Clifton, NJ. This organization awards high school scholarships to worthy students.
He assisted a young girl in earning her Eagle Scout Award by donating toward the creation of a bronze, life size sculpture of a police dog which is located on the grounds of Town Hall in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.
He published over 250 articles on legal and other topics in the New Jersey Law Journal, Elegant Bride Magazine, Bergen Record, Somerset Business, Showcase, Jersey Insider and Victim Voice.
He served as a Columnist for Jersey Insider from 2005 to present and published over 200 articles. His article “Philosophy of Life” appeared in the January 2024 issue and included 57 suggestions for proper attitude and conduct in life.
He received the Distinguished Service Award from the Knights of Columbus #11671 in Clifton, NJ.
He recently completed renovations to a monument he designed in 2003 that is located on the football/soccer field on the grounds of Paul VI Regional High School in Clifton, NJ (from which he graduated). The field is named “Suchon Field” and honors Father Thomas J. Suchon, the First Director of the high school who died in 1976 at the age of 38. The monument was part of Jeffrey’s promise in 1976 to keep Father Suchon’s memory alive.
