Martin Allen Appointed to NJ Supreme Court Committee on the Tax Court

The Firm is proud to announce that our partner, Martin Allen, has been appointed by the New
Jersey Supreme Court to serve on the Supreme Court Committee on the Tax Court for the 2020-
2022 term. Martin joins an esteemed committee made up of members of the bench and tax bar,
representatives of taxpayers' groups, local, county and state tax administrators, and others
concerned with the administration and review of New Jersey tax laws. The committee examines
Part VIII of the NJ Court Rules which governs proceedings in New Jersey’s Tax Court, and
proposes amendments and new rules to the Supreme Court. Martin is the chair of the firm’s real
estate tax department and one of the leading advocates on tax issues throughout the State. Martin
frequently lectures on real estate tax law and practice for the New Jersey Bar Association CLE
programs, numerous Tax Assessors’ Associations and the New Jersey League of Municipalities.
