Brian S. Davis is a Partner at DiFrancesco Bateman. Brian is adept in all phases of the litigation process. He understands the challenges both inside and outside the courtroom. Brian is also experienced in efficient alternate dispute resolution proceedings keeping the client interests first and foremost.

Brian graduated from Villanova University School of Business in 2010, earning a B.A. in Marketing with a minor in Business Law & Corporate Governance. In 2013, Brian received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law where he was a 3L Senator for the Student Bar Association and Captain of the Seton Hall School of Law Softball team. Prior to graduation, Brian worked as a Judicial Intern for Justice Barry T. Albin of the New Jersey Supreme Court and as a Legal Intern for the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Upon graduation from law school, Brian served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Yolanda Ciccone, A.J.S.C., the Honorable Edward M. Coleman, P.J. Ch., and the Honorable Thomas C. Miller, P.J. Cv. in Vicinage 13 (Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties). Brian was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 2014 and the New York State Bar in 2017. Brian was also admitted to the  U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey in 2023.  He practices in the area of litigation, with an emphasis in the areas of insurance defense and personal injury. Moreover, Brian has ample experience as a Municipal Prosecutor in multiple towns in Somerset and Hunterdon County.

Brian is on the Young Alumni Advisory Council at Villanova University. Brian is currently a Board member for the PeopleCare Center For Nonprofits which is a private nonprofit organization in Somerset County, NJ providing stable, affordable rents to nonprofit agencies and organizations at below market cost.

William Willard currently concentrates his practice of law in the representation of municipalities. William serves as Township Attorney, Affordable Housing Attorney, Tax Appeal Attorney and Board of Health Attorney to municipalities represented by the firm. He has a good working knowledge of the statutes, regulations and laws affecting municipal government including, but not limited to, Open Public Meetings Act, Open Public Records Act, Local Public Contracts Law, Local Lands and Buildings Law, Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, Affordable Housing Law, Tort Claims Act and Property Taxation. Mr. Willard is fully capable of providing the legal services required and demanded by any municipal government.

William grew up in Green Brook Township. He graduated from Green Brook High School in 1985. Thereafter, he attended the University of Maryland where he graduated with a double major in Business Management and Economics. Prior to his decision to become an attorney, Mr. Willard began a graduate course of study in Accounting at Georgia State University. He then moved back to Green Brook to pursue his juris doctorate at New York Law School.

Mr. Willard graduated from New York Law School in 1994. During his last year of Law School he served as an intern in the United States Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of New York. Following graduation, he successfully passed the New Jersey and New York Bar exams. His first year out of law school, he served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas Mannion of the Middlesex County Superior Court. After the clerkship, Mr. Willard went into private practice as an attorney for the Law Office of Terence VanDzura. During his employment with that firm, he handled litigation matters, workers’ compensation claims, real estate closings and matrimonial cases. He also served as municipal prosecutor to the municipalities represented by the firm.

In September 1999, Mr. Willard joined the law firm of DiFrancesco, Bateman, Kunzman, Davis, Lehrer & Flaum, P.C, in the Litigation Department. He handled a variety of litigation matters including commercial, personal injury and municipal. Due to the firm’s growing Municipal Law practice, William transferred to the Municipal Department and has been representing municipalities ever since.

Lisa Fittipaldi has represented clients in civil matters through her years in private practice in the areas of employment law, construction litigation, and commercial litigation. Representing plaintiffs and defendants in these cases has provided invaluable insight and the perspective to understand all sides of legal disputes.

Lisa concentrates her practice in the litigation of employment law matters, including representation of individuals, businesses and public entities in employment and labor issues. She appears regularly before State and Federal courts, administrative law courts and the Public Employees Relations Commission (PERC). Her experience includes advising and representing employers in labor and employment matters including drafting employee handbooks, training employees on those policies and investigating violations of the policies. Lisa also serves as general counsel to a public high school where she provides legal advice and services involving employees, issues concerning students, special education issues and labor negotiations.

As a law clerk to the Honorable Karen D. Russell, Judge, Superior Court, Morris County, Lisa was the first law clerk to the first woman judge appointed in Morris County. Before going into private practice, she worked in the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.

She served on the District XIII Ethics Committee as a Member, Vice Chair and Chair.

Lisa was the first woman to receive the Saint Thomas More Award given by the Metuchen Diocese to a Catholic attorney or judge who exemplifies a commitment to moral conscience and an intense concern for others in the pursuit of justice.

Lisa is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Employment Law Section. She was an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University School of Law teaching Civil Trial Practice.

Martin Allen chairs the law firm’s Real Estate Taxation Department and concentrates his practice in local real estate taxation and litigation. Martin serves as a Special Tax Counsel to numerous municipalities. As such, Martin has tried numerous cases in the New Jersey Tax Court as well as arguing cases in New Jersey’s appellate courts and the Supreme Court of New Jersey. His practice also includes representation of lenders and other holders of distressed assets in commercial foreclosures and workouts.

Martin is currently a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Tax Court. He is an Associate Counsel to the New Jersey League of Municipalities, a member of the League’s Legislative Review Committee, and an affiliate member of the Appraisal Institute. He has been an instructor for continuing education courses in the area of real estate taxation given to the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Metro New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, the New Jersey Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers, the Association of Municipal Assessors of New Jersey, the New Jersey League of Municipalities, the New Jersey Association of County Tax Boards and the Monmouth County Assessor’s Association.

Martin is First Vice President and General Counsel for the Rutgers University Football team’s booster club, the Rutgers Touchdown Club. Martin previously served as President of the Touchdown Club.
