Navigating through the myriad of permits and approvals required to develop in New Jersey demands an experienced land use practitioner. The DiFrancesco Bateman Land Use & Redevelopment Law Practice Group advises developers, property owners and businesses to enable them to maneuver through the processes necessary to secure local, county and/or state permits and approvals, including advocating for them before the applicable boards, agencies and authorities.

Land use projects handled by the firm include residences, shopping centers/supermarkets, child care centers, dog day care facilities, industrial facilities, home improvement centers, restaurants, hotels, banks, solar array development, and personal care facilities.

The Land Use & Redevelopment Law Practice Group also represents both local governments and redevelopers seeking to develop properties that have fallen into disuse for a variety of factors, including environmental conditions. The attorneys have experience in all aspects of the redevelopment process, from the preliminary investigation stage through the drafting and negotiation of the redevelopment agreement.

We also represent various planning and zoning boards. Several of the members of this practice group lecture frequently on zoning, land use and redevelopment issues affecting local governments and the development community in general.
