Harriet DermanHarriet Derman, retired Superior Court Judge, will be a panelist at the New Jersey State Bar Association Women’s Bench Bar Conference on March 14 at the NJ Law Center in New Brunswick. She will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Political Pathways in the Law: Insights from Travelers from the Bench and Bar.” Panelists will provide insight into the strategies they use and obstacles they face when incorporating politics into their careers. Judge Derman will give suggestions to female lawyers who may be interested in getting into politics or becoming a judge.

Judge Derman will also be a panelist on May 2 at an event sponsored by the Hunterdon County Bar Association entitled “Celebrating Women in the Law.” It will be held at the Beaver Brook Country Club in Annandale.
