The firm, which recently celebrated its 100 th  anniversary of serving clients in New Jersey, is doubling its office locations in the Garden State to better service its clients. The new offices will be in Hunterdon County and in Ocean County and will offer the firm’s full range of services across all locations which includes legal services for individuals, businesses, and public entities. The firm’s main office will remain in in Warren Township, Somerset County,  and has recently moved its Sussex County office from Newton to Sparta.

DiFrancesco Bateman has its roots in the firm opened by Irving Kunzman in 1917 in Plainfield, New Jersey, followed by Edwin Kunzman in 1952. In the late 1970s the firm, then known as Kunzman, Coley, Yospin & Bernstein, settled in the current location of its primary office, Warren Township, where it focused on representation of municipalities and municipal boards, litigation, business and real estate transactions, as well as service to the legal needs to individuals in the community. The firm has continued to develop by adding attorneys in its primary practice areas and to expand its concentration in additional areas of practice to further meet the needs of its diverse clientele, including environmental, employment, estate planning and administration, land use and development, school law, construction issues, representation of crime victims in civil litigation, and general municipal court and criminal defense.

“We have been fortunate to have clients throughout the state, and believe that we can serve them best by being closer to where they live and work,” said name partner, Governor Donald DiFrancesco.

Senator Christopher “Kip” Bateman agrees: “ Although we continue to be centered in Somerset County, our use of current technology along with the additional locations provides clients throughout New Jersey with the ability to have personal contact with our attorneys who have a wide breadth of experience and knowledge in many areas of the law. ”

Stephen Davis, the firm’s managing partner adds,  “We are looking forward to this new chapter for the firm. This have been a significant move as it not only allows us to be closer to many of our clients, it also allows us to expand the pool of talented attorneys who can serve those clients.”
