Update: Firm’s Operations During Covid-19 Virus Response
As you are aware, Governor Murphy has ordered non-essential businesses to be closed.
Although the order does not require business offices to close, DiFrancesco Bateman will be
closed to the public. The attorneys and staff at DiFrancesco Bateman will continue to be fully
available to our clients and colleagues during these uncertain times, as the technology we have
employed over the past few years enables our professionals and much of our staff to work
remotely. This will enable us to provide legal services to our clients without disruption while
also protecting our employees and clients from the risk of exposure of COVID-19. Our Warren
office will remain open to be able to continue certain of our operations that cannot be done
remotely; however, we are exercising every measure to provide a safe workplace for those who
will continue to staff the offices by instituting “social distancing” and policies that require
employees to stay home if sick; if they have had contact with a potentially affected person; or if
they are in the high-risk category. We will do our best to respond to any calls or messages in a
timely manner and suggest that email is the best method to reach us at this time. We appreciate
your understanding and cooperation as we implement these measures and endeavor to provide
you the support and legal services you require and expect from us. Most importantly, we urge
everyone to use their best efforts to protect themselves and others from the risks of infection, and
hope that you are able to remain healthy and safe.
