Since receiving his license to practice law in 1982, Martin Mayo has concentrated his practice in insurance coverage matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He has extensive trial experience, trying more than 75 cases to verdict in jury trials in state and federal courts. In the past five years alone, Martin has represented more than 200 families or businesses with wind and flood claims relating to hurricanes. He has screened hundreds of storm and flood claims over the years. Martin is believed to be the only attorney to try a flood case in Galveston County, Texas.

Martin is Board Certified in personal injury trial law in the state of Texas. He has been nominated to the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a past President of the South Texas College of Law Alumni Association. Martin is Of Counsel to the firm, providing counsel and assistance in matters related to claims arising from property damage caused by Superstorm Sandy.
