Edward Purcell concentrates his legal practice in municipal, land use, affordable housing and property tax law. This includes issues related to the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) and Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA). He also specializes in municipal issues related to public utilities and wireless infrastructure.

Previously, Edward served as in-house counsel to the New Jersey State League of Municipalities. He has argued before the Appellate Division, New Jersey Supreme Court and the Council on Local Mandates. He is a member of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisers. Edward also serves as Associate Editor of the New Jersey Municipal Law Review.
